1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by ADENIKE LOGISTICS, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

ADENIKE LOGISTICS provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping services (USA to Jamaica and/or Jamaica to USA)

  • Air and/or sea freight options

  • Assisted online shopping and payment services (if applicable)

  • Warehousing and package handling

  • Pickup, drop-off, and delivery services

  • Delivery via third-party courier partners where applicable

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipments are processed on a scheduled basis (weekly or as communicated). All shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs processing

  • Airline or shipping carrier delays

  • Weather conditions

  • Inspections or unforeseen circumstances

4. Service Areas

ADENIKE LOGISTICS operates within designated service areas across Jamaica.

Delivery outside our primary zones may be facilitated through third-party couriers at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

ADENIKE LOGISTICS assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors.

Responsibility begins when the package is received at our warehouse or collected and ends when the package is handed over to:

  • Third-party carriers

  • Customs authorities

  • Final delivery recipient

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor or supplier errors

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before reaching our facility

  • Delays or damages caused by third-party handlers

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors or customers.

Fragile items such as:

  • Electronics

  • Glass

  • Liquids

  • Cosmetics

  • Breakable goods

are shipped entirely at the customer’s risk, regardless of packaging.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all local and international shipping laws.

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited items may be seized or disposed of without refund.
ADENIKE LOGISTICS is not liable for fines, penalties, or confiscations.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for:

  • Accurate declaration of items

  • Payment of customs duties and taxes

  • Any government-imposed fees

We are not responsible for delays, inspections, or penalties imposed by customs authorities.

9. Assisted Online Shopping (If Applicable)

For customers using our assisted shopping service:

  • Full payment must be made in advance

  • Customers must confirm all item details before purchase

  • Payments become non-refundable once the order is placed

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors

  • Incorrect items

  • Size issues

  • Shipping delays from suppliers

All refunds or exchanges must be handled directly with the vendor.

10. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfers

  • Cash

  • Online payments

All payments must be completed before shipment processing.

Payments are non-refundable once processing has begun.

11. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receiving or being notified of your package.

Claims must include:

  • Proof of purchase/invoice

  • Photos (if applicable)

WhatsApp messages do not constitute official claims unless otherwise stated.

12. Storage & Uncollected Packages

  • Packages must be collected within a reasonable timeframe after notification

  • Storage fees may apply after a specified period

Uncollected packages after an extended period may be:

  • Disposed of

  • Donated

  • Auctioned

to recover costs. Outstanding balances remain the responsibility of the customer.

13. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made prior to shipment processing.

Fees may apply where applicable.
We reserve the right to cancel services at our discretion.

14. Amendments

ADENIKE LOGISTICS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between ADENIKE LOGISTICS and its customers and override any prior agreements or understandings.
